Getting to Wycliffe

Several school buses travel to and from Wycliffe each day, servicing the Blue Mountains and Nepean areas. The schedule for school buses can be found here. To find out more about bus availability and timing, visit Transport for NSW.

Wycliffe is located 20 minutes’ walk from Warrimoo Station. You can view the train schedule at Transport for NSW.

We encourage families in our community to take up opportunities for students to walk or ride bikes to the school.

Drop off and pick up

Junior School students will be escorted to bus lines or the parent pickup zone by staff at the end of the school day. If you are picking up your Junior School child in the afternoon from the school grounds, please wait in B Courtyard, which is adjacent to the driveway.

Due to school bus transport and the safety of children, the bus bay must be kept clear. To ensure this, cars are not permitted to drive into or out of the carpark between 2:30pm and 3:05pm. Access and departure must be before or after this time.

Please make sure all children are accompanied when crossing Rickard Road. We also ask that parents do not park in the space directly adjacent to the school driveway, to assist with visibility, and only park in marked bays.

Furthermore, it is very important that cars do not overtake on our own driveway, even when a bus is stopped to the side. The visibility on our driveway makes this a matter of safety, and we would ask parents to be patient and mindful of other drivers, allowing enough time in the morning to avoid a rush. If your child is to be dropped off or picked up by a non-parent (e.g. a grandparent or family friend), please make them aware of these guidelines also.
