7-12 Chromebook Program
Students in Years 7-12 are part of a 1:1 Chromebook program. All related resources are available from this page.
Buy a Chromebook
Wycliffe has partnered with Learning with Technologies to provide an online store for the purchase of suitable Chromebooks.
Use the link below to access the store.
All Chromebooks purchased from our store arrive preconfigured and ready to use.
Second-hand Chromebooks
Through our Tech Forwards program, second-hand Chromebooks are also occasionally sold or donated by other families or schools who no longer need them. These Chromebooks are usually preconfigured and ready to use. Click on the link below to see if there are any second hand Chromebooks available.
Already have a Chromebook or purchasing from somewhere else?
Chromebooks not purchased through our partner store or Tech Forwards do not include the required management licence, and so must be enrolled by the IT team before it can be used on the school network.
To have a Chromebook enrolled, have your child visit the IT Office during school hours. The school will bill you for the management licence after it has been applied.
Getting Support
If your child is having a problem with their Chromebook, they should first visit the IT office to have it checked out.
IT staff will advise if a repair is required and provide resources and suggestions.
Other Devices
For network security, classroom management, and student equity reasons, Wycliffe does not accept the use of alternate devices (eg. Mac, Windows, Android, iPad) for school use.
Students completing their HSC (Years 11 & 12) may apply for an exemption by contacting IT.
See the 1:1 Program policy in the 'Related Policies' section below for more information.
Sell or unlock your Chromebook
When a student leaves the school or purchases a new Chromebook, their previous school Chromebook is not automatically unlocked from the school management system.
You can complete the form in the link below to request the device be unlocked for personal use or permanently unlinked from the school, or if the device is no longer useful to the family, make the device available for purchase or donation to other school families.
